Japan promotes color bar code technology

Not long ago, a new kind of color bar code began to be used throughout Japan.
It is reported that this color bar code is researched and developed by Professor Han Yongdun, a professor of information industry engineering at Korea Yanye University. The color bar code uses four colors of red, green, blue, and black, which increases the information capacity by 10 times the black bar code that represents only the product information in black and white, and is a sophisticated computer identification technology.
It is understood that this color bar code can store more than 170 kinds of information such as Internet sites, words, numbers, etc. in a square of 3mm square. Different from a black bar code that can only read information through a special recognizer, this color bar code technology can be recognized by various devices such as a computer and a video camera.
