Ningbo Dacheng Successfully Developed a High Performance Polyester Road Fiber

A high-performance polyester fiber was successfully developed by Ningbo Dacheng New Material Co., Ltd., and its use in Hangzhou municipal engineering proved that it can greatly extend the life of the road. Now Ningbo Dacheng has formed a production capacity of 5,000 tons for the first time.
The results were recently approved in Beijing. The experts agreed that the product has high tensile strength and high elastic modulus and is the first in the country. Its performance index has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products, and the price is only 1/4 of that of similar foreign products.
According to reports, blending the right amount of polyester fiber with world advanced level into asphalt mixture can firmly control the micro cracking of asphalt concrete, thereby overcoming the disadvantages of traditional asphalt and greatly improving the high temperature stability of asphalt pavement. The durability of Borlau, and the ability to resist cracking at low temperature and prevent the occurrence of reflective cracks, enhances the tension of the road surface, has good water and sliding resistance, low noise during driving, and low cost.
