Japan’s Daicel Chemical Industry Company recently developed a biodegradable plastic called “Celgreenâ€. The remarkable feature of this new type of biodegradable plastic is that the heat-resistant temperature can be increased from less than 60°C to 150°C by irradiation treatment, and has good processing performance.
This new product is expected to be used in some new areas where other biodegradable plastics have not yet been able to handle. Celgreen can not only be used alone, but also can be used as a modifier for other biodegradable plastics, such as Celgreen modified transparent polycaprolactam biodegradable plastic has better tensile strength and stretchability than before modification.
