Speedmaster 102 Series Offset Press (Part 2)

(b) Operation Process 1. Installation dial 2. The machine moves to the exchange position of the transfer teeth and the impression cylinder at 204°.
Note: If a compensator is installed on the paper feed teeth, set the compensator cam to "0" before adjusting the paper feed.
3. Rotate the feed paper in the reverse direction, as shown in Figure 10, so that the gap between the paper feed tine and the front edge of the impression cylinder is 1mm. In this position, install the drive surface gear and tighten the fixing screws.
4. Remove the two positioning axes A (Fig. 11) of the transmission surface and the operation surface and replace the test axis WLm22 1077 shown in Fig. 8. This axis is 0.26mm smaller than the actual positioning axis.
5. To adjust the two inner cams 27.013.003/004, turn the machine continuously until the dial reads 11°30 ¢ (equivalent to some paper feeds on the paper feed tray leading 0°30° ahead or feeding paper and paperboard. At a 90° angle.
Be careful when the positioning rod contacts the test shaft because the cam is loose!
At an angle of 11°30°, the positioning rod B must be in contact with the test axis A.
6. A 0.02 mm piece of steel was inserted between the inner cam C and the pendulum drive ball D, and the cam was tightened after the cam was tightened.
7. Swing open the paper teeth, install the outer cam E, and use the test roller ball F in the test tool WLm22 1077 to position. After positioning, the test ball must move with flexibility and no gap between the two cams. Fasten the outer cam and install the positioning pin.
8. Remove the two test shafts A WLm22 1077 and install the just-removed positioning shaft 27.013.095, and then move the machine to position 11°30 ¢.
At this point it should be possible to manually rotate the positioning axis A 27.013.095 and feel some resistance. If the positioning axis is too loose or too tight, you need to use the positioning axis in Figure 9?br>9. After the feed teeth have been rotated past the paper pick-up position on the paper transporter, the tooth row slowly reaches the stop screw A (see Figure 12). This occurs between the cam B 27.013.003/004 and the pendulum drive ball C. The gap should be at least 0.02mm.
When the stop screw A is rotated for unexpected reasons, the adjustment parameters of the transfer bar must be checked. At this point, the test needs to be adjusted with the test WLm5020 (part number 00.894.0087).
10. Turn the machine to the position shown in Figure 13 for easy inspection.
Note: In this position, the cam C cannot contact the cam B.
Inspection work is performed on the transmission surface and the operation surface, respectively.
Remove the reference plate X of the test tool WLm5020, lean the positioning surfaces I and II of the test tool on the axis D, and turn the test tool in the direction of the row of teeth to check whether the points III and IV are in contact with the axes E and F.
This correction can be made on the stop screw A, for which reason the delivery tooth must be returned to the position shown in FIG.
11. Turn the paper feed to the position on the paper feed tray. Use the random tool 27.024.005 to adjust the transfer pad to the "paper" position.
12. Turn the machine continuously until the feed dog turns to the position shown in Figure 14.
This inspection work should be carried out under the machine.
The reference plate X of the test tool WLm5020 is installed and used to measure the height of the transfer tooth pad. To do this, first remove the teeth on the transmission surface, the operating surface, and the corresponding measurement point in the center position. The distance from the bottom of shaft B to the feed pad A should be 169.8 mm.
13. If this value is not 169.8mm, the position of the feed dog A must be adjusted. Then adjust the positioning block 27.013.080 and tighten the positioning pin as required.
14. The cam 76.013.038 controls the roll cam 66.013.044 on the drive surface and the operating surface. These two cams control the opening and closing of the transfer paper on the cardboard.
The delivery tooth and the operation face of the delivery tooth open ball should be in the position shown in Figure 15 with the swing rod cam, the contact point and the swing rod cam front end distance of 5 ~ 7mm.
15. Both the pendulum lever cam and the delivery tooth opener should be in contact at the same time. At this time, the ball of the pendulum 66.012.081 must be located on the highest point of the cam 76.013.038.
According to the need to adjust the swing rod cam and hinge pin hole (if the adjustment is accurate, the maximum open tooth size before the paper feed paper on the paper feeding board is 10.5 ~ 11.5mm).
16. At the cam 76.013.038 the correction of the pick-up time of the paper feed on the transport board is carried out. Swing the transfer teeth to a position where the pad and the paper transport are at an angle of 90°, and check the cut piece with a thin paper strip. Turn the cam until the strip can be just removed and check each tooth individually. Adjust the blade adjustment screw C as needed (see Figure 14).
17. The opening time of the transfer tooth and the impression cylinder is adjusted with the transmission surface and the operating surface cam 27.013.048. The opening time of the paper-handling teeth is 205°, and the feeding time between the paper-feeding teeth and the impression cylinder is 1° (1°=2.35mm).
Note: The contact time between the cam roller and the cam surface of the transmission surface and the operation surface should be the same.
18. Adjust the front gauge to the maximum jaw position, arrange a sheet of paper, and check if the leading edge of the paper conveying die and the front edge of the paper are at a sufficient distance so that the paper does not touch the dental sheet.
19. Finally, you must also check whether the open teeth of the paper feed teeth are appropriate when the machine stops after the paper has been fed (consecutive paper failure). At this point it must be possible to easily insert a 0.2mm thick paper jam on the feed chip.
