TearAnywhere Multilayer Film

The condom package shown is made from a Tear Anyyle multilayer film made by co-extrusion of various paraffin-based materials such as MLLDPE, HDPE, and various Tg materials such as cycloolefin copolymers. It is not sensitive to humidity and will not become fragile or yellow as time goes by. This can make the white packaging look new.

Patented closure technology also allows packagers to reduce the sealing temperature and dwell time, thereby increasing the speed of the production line.

According to Alcan, the easy tear and barrier properties of this film come from the proprietary resin technology used in the extrusion process and production process. It can be used as a base for composite membranes, acts as a barrier film, and can also be heat-sealed with itself or other polyethylene membranes.
