Second, the gutter

The gutters are staples for sewing, sewing, three-eye and thread-binding. The binding thread includes wax thread, thread, twine, and synthetic fiber thread.

Cotton wax is called wax line, also known as cotton wax light. It is a hard-booked book core lock line used for custom materials. There are four types of cotton thread, the models are: 42S/4, 42S/6, 60S/4, 60S/6, (S and its preceding figures indicate the number of yarns, and the number behind the slashes indicates the number of shares). The thread is soft and smooth, but its price is high and its flexibility is high. It is only used when sewing high-grade line-bound books and pictures.

The commonly used synthetic fiber threads include nylon thread and polyester thread. The strength of the nylon thread is high and thinner lines can be used. However, the nylon thread has a large elasticity, and it is not easy to lock the signature. After the cutting, there is a phenomenon that the incision is uneven or the back of the book is bent.
